Living in Delaware all his life, Dennis Spence Jr graduated from the University of Delaware in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He currently works at Century Engineering, LLC, where he has been for 16 years. His focus is Traffic Signal Systems and Traffic Safety Engineering, where he has been involved with projects in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and Maine. He works to ensure the safe mobility of people to and from their destinations, as well as creating the most safe and efficient environment for people that must work on highways to maintain vehicular infrastructure. In addition to this professional endeavors, Dennis has a passion for mentoring with young men in his community in the city of Dover. Working with local churches, the Delaware Capitol Police, and other community leaders, Dennis enjoys working to develop better mindsets and viewpoints to help the community unify and grow.
