In 2017 Delaware’s Department of Education (DDOE) original Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) plan was sent back to the state with suggestions for improving outcomes for students. This letter outlines recommendations the United State Department of Education sent to DDOE to consider as well as a few opportunities when re-submitting the updated ESSA plan.
